Dane vs Nigel, Game 1 of the Sixth Boris Chessky Cup Head-To-Head

We played this game back in December. It's taken me this long to be able to look at it again.

The game didn't start too badly for me, but the unsound sacrifice of my Knight on move 10, followed by the even less sound sacrifice of my other Knight on move 15 didn't help my game.

Funnily enough, Dane made a bit of a blunder on move 21, allowing me to take his Rook for free and it was potentially game on again, but he had things under control within a few moves and ended up with a nice checkmate - I knew I should just resign near the end, but sometimes one must hold on to the hope that the opponent will make some bizarre move that lets you escape. Foolish.
